
About Lauren
Lauren Murphy Yeoman is an Assistant Professor of Voice and Movement for Theater at Wesleyan University. She previously taught at the University of Southern California MFA and BFA programs. She has also taught in California for Theatricum Botanicum, Stella Adler – Los Angeles, USC’s High School Summer Conservatory, the Summer Institute for International Actors, the EdVentures Program, STAR Education, and the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.
She has coached productions at Wesleyan University, the University of Southern California, DR2, Central Square Theatre, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, the Kirk Douglas Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum, A Noise Within, Theatricum Botanicum, the Stella Adler Theatre, the South Pasadena Theater Workshop, and The Brasil Brasil Cultural Center. She is a member of The Road Theatre.
She holds an MFA in Acting from Columbia University and a BA from Tufts University. She is a designated Linklater Voice Teacher, and certified Colaianni Speech Teacher. Memberships: VASTA, The Voice Foundation, The National Alliance of Acting Teachers.
